Winning Weekend Away
May 20th 2007 07:57
I'm back!
Living in the lap of luxury is a place I'd like to stay, permanently.
Valet parking. Water Views. Room Service. Spa. Sauna. Heated Pool. Gymnasium (not that I saw that!). Buffet Dining. Featherdown bedding. Spa Treatments. Massage. This is what my weekend consisted of. And it didn't cost me a cent.
Not bad, huh?
A few months back I saw a competition to win a Day Spa Experience. I entered. I won. And this weekend took a friend and enjoyed opulence. Using travel vouchers I won earlier in the year too, we stayed overnight in the resort.
Actually it cost me $2.49 for a packet of the product. And I needed the product so it's all good.
What a weekend!
"Comping" sure is life changing.
The things I've been able to enjoy, experience and share with others is far beyond our middle-income wage would ever permit.
And this weekend was no exception.
I didn't keep a copy of the entry that won. But I do know tha I used the products name - promoters love to hear their own name mentioned and if it's done in a way that's relevant to their product or business, they love it all the more. I'm also guilty of the rhyming entry. From now on I promise to keep copies of all my entries.
I'm off for a nap now, I'm more relaxed than I've been in a very long time and the body's not used to it. The weekend was fantastic, but there's nothing like sleeping in your own bed, especially when it's comfortable.
Here's to a winning week.
If you have a competition you're entering and would like some help, I'd love to help.
